Having the completed the grad year, I find it rewarding that I’m getting offered work in different areas. I also feel very fortunate to now be a student midwife in a wonderful maternity unit. I would not be where I am now if not for the opportunities I received during the grad year. It allowed me to look at different areas of nursing and work out where I wanted my career to lead me.
