Specialists
We are looking for Specialists interested in pursuing opportunities to establish themselves in private practice (ie non-salaried position, self-employed, responsible for running your own private practice and working independently).
To do this, medical practitioners must have:
- Fellowship from an Australian specialty college or recognised equivalent;
- Eligibility to be registered as a Specialist with the relevant Australian Medical Board;
- Access to a provider number that attracts Medicare benefits; and
- Appropriate indemnity insurance.

RMOs and CMOs
Ramsay Health Care has a limited number of salaried positions for RMOs and CMOs in a number of locations throughout Australia.
There is a great deal of interest from local applicants in these positions; therefore we are looking for doctors who already hold general / unconditional registration or who are eligible for general / unconditional registration with an Australian Medical Board.
