Reskilling Programs

Some Ramsay Health Care Hospitals offer skills enhancement or refresher courses for nurses who have been out of the acute care environment for a period of time. These Hospitals include:

• Greenslopes Private Hospital
• Hollywood Private Hospital
• Mildura Base Hospital
• Warringal Private Hospital
• Joondalup Health Campus

In addition, Hunters Hill Private Hospital assist refresher Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses who have completed acute care upgrades with their clinical placement.

Mildura have offer a Refresher Program for nurses wanting to return to the acute care environment and a Supervised Practice Program for nurses wanting to return.

Northside West Private Clinic can organise a buddy system for orientation of staff requiring reskilling.

Hunters Hill Private Hospital offers clinical placement for employees who wish to attend the Refresher Courses offered by external training schools.
