NURSES BOARD OF VICTORIA ASSESSMENTS
The assessment process is in fact continuous and progress is
monitored throughout the program. However, the Nurses Board
of Victoria requires evidence of progress and achievements
to be documented completely at the completion of the programme.
The assessment model utilised is the ANCI competencies for
Registered and Enrolled Nurses, which takes a global approach
to nursing
practice and looks for integration of clinical skills with
knowledge. Mental health competencies are used to assess
mental health practice. Successful participants of the Supervised Practice Programme
will demonstrate the skills and knowledge to enable them
to be recommended for Re-registration as a Division 1, 2
or 3
Nurse
(as appropriate) with the Nurses Board of Victoria. This
will allow recommencement of their nursing career as a beginning
practitioner.
